NTEC own research institute has been established, whose research fields include functional modification of fiber polymer and high function monofilament forming technology. Products application, engineering equipment and automatic manufacturing also have been integrated into it.The institute contains a testing and analysis center, a material modification center,a monofilament forming tech center , an engineering equipment lab and a medium-sized testing workshop. The institute has been recognized as  Provincial Grade Engineering Technology Research Center, Provincial Grade Enterprise's Technology Center, and Provincial Grade Engineering Research Center by the government.
With Doctors as the technical leading talents and Masters as the core backup of the research team .To this day many team members have been named National High-level Talents,Jiangsu provincial High-level Talents,Nantong city High-level Talents,Chongchuan district Outstanding Talents.
